Updating Website

Here goes a site overhaul in the midst of crazy LSAT studying – How is the new look?

I have dissolved the tags and categories for the meantime because they needed major fixing. There’s 255 posts to go through (not too much) so till then, use the search function if you need anything or shout on the wall to the right. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Ongoing projects
- The LSAT
- 2 Articles (Migrant Workers and the Chinese Olympics, Tolerance Discourse)
Projects on Hold
- ‘Comment Spam’ file
- Journal article for ‘Still’
- + ‘Immigrant’ Movie database
In all seriousness, more things than I can recall right now.
Lets break from the incessant negativity. Things I am thankful about:
- THE Promigrant.org – While I haven’t contributed anything as of late, I am so proud of the efforts of this brilliant, talented group from The Sanctuary. Do update your links! I am sure the site will (if it has not already) emerge as a leader in the growing online pro-migrant movement. And the moment I am done with the law school ‘administration and politics’ in October, I will turn my focus on my pro-migrant activities online, which also includes ADD and DA.
- Getting rid of viruses on all 3 computers with a handy tool called avast! Seriously, it worked after McAfee, Norton, Nod-32, ESET failed miserably.
- The $1400 Testmasters program and the amount of LSAT material I have at my disposal. Mimeo.com also gave me a $100 coupon which I used to print-out more test questions (Bad for the environment I know, but I am hoping to save these for some other students to use after me)
- This summer and the impetus of my hand injury gave me the chance to get back in shape. Forget about the hand for a moment, which still hurts, I finished a 6-mile run in Santa Cruz under an hour and ran the entire race, and am dangling at about 110 pounds.
- The amazing reception to my first fan-fic. I realize this is juvenile compared to everything else, but I have always considered myself to be a crappy fiction writer even though I do harbor ambitions of becoming a writer sooner or later. This came as a pleasant surprise, and I hope to keep improving enough to the point where I can feel confident about publishing a book someday (somewhere along the lines of The Namesake) …
Happy Independence Day and Happy Rakhi to all my desi friends and visitors to the site.
Lets keep Dreaming!
